# Ecosystem Introduction

Copium Protocol is a multi-pronged Blockchain mining investment project.

Initially the project will be centered around the launch of its NFT collection, the Copium Protocol Investor Pass, of which the main goal is to raise sufficient capital investment to allow for the purchase of mining equipment and infrastructure upgrades in order to significantly expand the existing Copium Mining facility in New Zealand. Once online, revenue from the newly expanded Copium Mining facility will be used daily to purchase Copium Coin from the open market. These coins will then be sent to a burn address, lowering supply, increasing scarcity, ensuring the coin remains deflationary.

Simultaneous to the launch of the Investor Pass Collection, will be the public launch of Copium coin, an ERC-20 token, built on the Ethereum network, which will be the foundation of the Copium Protocol ecosystem. Pre-sale ICO of Copium Coin will run for a period of 60 days before the public launch of the coin, or until the predetermined ICO hard cap is met.

Following the successful launch of both the Copium Protocol Investor Pass and Copium Coin will be the introduction of the Copium Protocol Staking Platform.

Users will be able to stake Copium Coin holdings for a range of locked and unlocked periods at varying interest rates depending on the length of the chosen staked period.

Holders of the Copium Protocol Investor Pass will receive a wide range of additional benefits, which will will only ever be exclusively available to Investor Pass Holders.

Copium Mining is a well established, NZ registered, Cryptocurrency Mining company, which continues to remain at the forefront of this rapidly evolving industry. With several facilities worldwide Copium Mining endeavors to be an industry leader in its adoption of emerging Blockchain technologies.

With over 10 years experience in the Blockchain / Cryptocurrency industries , the project has a solid team of industry professionals with a proven track record, and a wealth of knowledge behind it.
